According to police, a Subway employee was cleaning in a back room when two masked suspects burst in and demanded money. The victim struggled to open the business safe, causing the suspects to become even more aggressive.
The victim told police the suspects hit him in the face with a handgun and forced him into the restaurant's freezer. The two suspects then grabbed cash and ran from the store.
Both suspects were black men who appeared to be in their 20's. One had a dark complexion and a deep voice with a strong Southern accent. The other had a medium complexion; his arms were covered with tattoos of what the victim described as "evil stuff" -- images of zombies, ghosts, goblins and skulls.
The victim was treated at the scene for his injuries.
The robbery is under investigation. Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers Greater Atlanta at 404-577-TIPS.
