2 arrested in man's stabbing death | Crime
SMYRNA, Ga. -- Two Smyrna residents were arrested in the Sept. 26 stabbing death of a local man.
Police were dispatched to the crime scene on Teasley Drive in Smyrna shortly before midnight Monday, where they found the victim and identified him as 47-year-old William Lamar Milton.
Before he passed away, Milton was able to identify his attacker as 32-year-old Clarice Augustine Smith, according to Smyrna Police spokesman Michael Smith.
Clarice Smith was captured and arrested shortly after the stabbing. Police determined that she stabbed Milton during an argument and that Clarice Smith's boyfriend, 39-year-old Deandre Demond Ramsey, held Milton down while she attacked him.
Ramsey and Smith were both charged with murder and aggravated assault. They are being held in the Cobb County Adult Detention Center.
