ATLANTA -- Arts education is an important element of any curriculum, yet it is constantly in danger of going away due to lack of funding.

Support the arts in your community and give this priceless gift to the children in your life.

One easy way is to make a donation to ArtsBridge, a program sponsored by the Cobb Energy Performing Arts Centre Foundation. ArtsBridge provides education and outreach activities tailored to children that inspire creativity and foster the next generation of artists.

The program works collaboratively with several leading organizations, including the Atlanta Opera, Atlanta Symphony Orchestra, Atlanta Ballet, Kennedy Center Theater for Young Audiences on Tour and Kennesaw State University.

CURE Childhood Cancer and Copeland’s Restaurants Team Up for a 'Full Filling' Cause

CURE Childhood Cancer and Copeland’s Restaurants Team Up for a 'Full Filling' Cause

More than 40,000 infants, children and teenagers are currently receiving treatment for cancer. CURE Childhood Cancer is a non-profit organization dedicated to funding childhood cancer research projects conducted by experts locally and nationally who are working to find a cure.

Open Arms, one of CURE’s key programs, includes weekly meals delivered to the families and children in both Egleston and Scottish Rite campuses of the Aflac Cancer Center at Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta. These meals help bring a sense of home and comfort to the hospital, and this is where Copeland’s of New Orleans has stepped in.

Starting with their specialty, Thanksgiving, Copeland’s is donating a Thanksgiving lunch buffet for these families that look forward to their CURE meal every week.
