Authorities seeking bank robbery suspect | News
SMYRNA, Ga. -- The FBI is requesting help from the public in locating a suspect it says was responsible for an attempted bank robbery at a Bank of America branch in Smyrna Monday.
Officials said about 11:45a.m., a lone black female entered the bank branch at 2475 South Cobb Drive and presented a note to a teller. The suspect then pointed a gun at the teller. FBI officials said that when the teller didn't respond, the suspect fled the bank without obtaining any money.
The suspect is described as black female, mid to late 30s in age, about 5-foot-5-inches tall, weighing about 150 pounds, wearing a black wig, off-white colored sweater and wearing dark sunglasses.
Anyone with information in connection with the suspect or with the robbery is asked to call the Atlanta FBI office at 404-679-9000.
