Vigil for Slain Businessman | News
SMYRNA, Ga. - Friends and family members paid tribute to a slain businessman Saturday night. Vigils were held for Terry Porter at three of the assisted living centers he owned in metro Atlanta.
Porter was shot and killed outside his southwest Atlanta home in November. Police say they believe it was a robbery because his cell phone and car were taken.
Porter's brother, Levi Bias, told 11 Alive he doesn't think the gunman knows what a strong impact Porter had on the community. Bias says his brother got his start in real estate and went on to help people who had nowhere else to turn.
Police released surveillance video person needed for questioning. If you have information, call Crime Stoppers at (404)577-8477. You could be eligible for a $2,000 reward.
